Leo R. Tow

Leo R. Tow, 91, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Elkville, passed away at 3:30 A.M., Sunday, November 21, 2004 at Nashville, TN.
Leo was a coal miner.  He was a member of the Elkville Christian Church in Elkville.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W. II.
He was born October 2, 1913 at Vergennes, IL, the son of Irvin and Parzettie (McCoy) Tow.
He married Ilah B. Fox on April 17, 1936 at Elkville, IL and she preceded him in death on October 21, 2000.
He is survived by one son - Tommy Tow and wife Julie of Nashville, TN, two grandchildren - Bryant Tow and wife Tammy of Franklin, TN and Melissa Winton and husband Wayne of Smyrna, TN, one sister - Phyllis Tow of Carbondale and two great grandchildren - Garrison Tow and Kaylea Winton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, step mother - Beulah Tow, three infant children - twin sons - Ronald and Donald and daughter - Paula Jane and one brother - Paul Tow.
Services were at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Elkville Christian Church in Elkville with Bro. Gary Pruitt officiating.
Interment was in the Elkville Cemetery at Elkville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elkville Christian Church.
Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin was in charge of arrangements.
